Dr Patrick Loh Profile
Prof. (Dr)
Patrick Loh has a total
of about 25 years of experience spanning various fields in industry,
consulting, publishing, training and business, including about 11years in the
academia, and managing the operations of professional educational
institutions.
He is
currently the Principal Consultant/Chief learning officer of Knowledgeworks
Consultants which focused on developing creative solutions to global problems
and challenges through own research, publications, training programmes, and
consultancy services.
He received his Ph.D from the University
of Sunderland (UK) and Master of Commerce from the University of Strathclyde
(Scotland) and professional qualifications in management, marketing, and
communication studies from the U.K.
|
He has written 11 books to date. Some of the most recent ones
include "Spirituality & leadership responsibilities and development. Amity Global Journal, Vol. 5, No. 1, 18 Aug. 2018)" , “Managing in the global economic downturn” and “Future of Innovation
& Enterprise.”
It is believed most
of the ideas from these books were incorporated into the Economic Strategies Committee’s
recommendations, and now adopted by the Singapore government for restructuring,
and developing new business models for the economy.
He has also reviewed and presented papers in global conferences such
as Global IT management conferences (USA) and IBIMA.
He is
currently focusing on the total development of the individual well-being
(total wholeness and wellness of the physical being, including mental,
physical, emotional, spiritual, from a lowly based person to a person of high
spirituality and virtuosity) as a way to unlock the full potential of the
individual soul for optimal living, performance and contribution.
He believes most organizational problems have
one thing in common - issues with spiritual and moral leadership. He believes
that with spiritual maturity and wisdom (spiritual-mental, character and moral
development), one is able to view the world with new perspectives,
and uncover and develop good and new values, principles, purposes and
meanings in life.
He is currently
focusing on some of the latest and innovative techniques, skills, and
programmes ranging from spirituality and sacredness of education, work and
business to more spiritual and transcendental forms of leadership (as an
ultimate guide and panacea for true, authentic and effective leadership) so as
to transform and take your organization to the next level of growth and
development.
Through all these programmes,
it is also hoped to transform all the global, social, business and educational
landscapes to become more authentic, caring, compassionate, collaborative, and
people living and contributing more fully.
