We are the representative of Cambridge Flexible Learning
[CFL]/Cambridge Management College [CMC] as an associate Consultant in the
region. This alliance is for specific projects conducted by Blended Learning, a
combination of Open/Distance/e Learning plus face-to-face inputs. This Blended
Learning results in Accredited Qualifications linked to existing organisational
initiatives in Learning & Development – e.g. the existing course portfolio
of the organisation.
Suitable also for institutions of higher learning without the
business management and leadership majors and disciplines for their own
students.
Corporates/Institutions: Accredited Learning for executives and students
CMC/CFL can do the following.
Give credits for existing company training/development courses that match our specifications.

1. 'Map'
these credits against the modules/qualifications - usually Access Foundation
Masters - MBA levels.
2. Give
assessments/assignments as required for modules/part modules.
3. Fill
in 'gap' with Open Learning plus face-to-face workshops for 'softer' skills
such as teamwork, performance appraisal and leadership etc.
4. Give
more assignments for assessment/module or part module - no examinations as
such.

Staff/New Apprentices
§ Diploma in Business [Level 3] and
Associate Member of The Chartered Management Institute.
Junior to Middle
Management/Professionals/Ongoing Apprentices
§ Diploma in Management/Extended Diploma in
Management [Levels 4 + 5]/equivalent to the first two years of a Degree and
Member of The Chartered Management Institute.
§ BA Hons. In Business Management [Level 6]
in conjunction with the University.
Middle Managers plus
Aspiring Senior Managers without a Degree
§ Foundation Masters/Diploma in Management
[Level 6] and Member of The Chartered Management Institute.
Managers/potential Senior
Managers with a Degree
§ Certificate in Strategic Management,
Diploma in Strategic Management and MBA [Level 7] plus Member/Fellow of
The Chartered Management Institute.
WHO ARE THE AWARDING BODIES?

CMC is an e-centre and a management centre
of Awards for Training and Higher Education in the UK. They have close links to
the University of Northampton.
With relevant work experience, successful
participants gain membership/fellowship of The Chartered Management Institute
without further assessment and examination.
While the Degree may be useful for
companies employing commercial apprentices our focus will tend to be on the
Foundation Masters and the Post Graduate Diploma/MBA. CMC is wholly responsible
for the Foundation Masters that leads to the MBA and a University is involved
in the third and final part of the MBA – again by Open Learning. There are 8
modules for the Foundation MBA and 8 modules for the Post Graduate Strategic
Diploma plus 1 module – a dissertation – to complete the MBA.
For the administration of the e-delivery of
all the programmes and courses, CFL/CMC will utilise a Virtual Learning
Environment supported by face-to-face inputs (seminars/workshops) as and when
necessary.
