Professional Experience
Have about 40 years (since 1976) working experiences in manufacturing firms, including 5 years working outside Singapore in places such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan & China. Industries cover paper products, contract manufacturing in PCBA, equipment build, shipbuilding & repairing etc. Worked as senior management member in corporate services (human resource, IT & Finance), CFO, regional finance manager.

Now working as a consultant to provide following services in various industries:
-          Reviewing business strategy & its execution. In today business world with technology intrusion, uncertainty, business models need to be reviewed and revised to stay relevant
-          Conducting due diligence in Merger & Acquisition(M&A) to improve rate of success
-          Assisting company to go IPO (Initial Public Offer)  to create value and wealth for stakeholders
-          Assisting company to improve performance through Training in performance management, financial literacy, risk management; Coaching people; Implementing productivity improvement programs and Building/ enhancing new/ existing capabilities.
1.      Last full-time job was with CEI Limited (9/9/1996 till 30/6/2015) as senior Director (Corporate Services), in charge of Finance, Human resource, and IT departments. Since 1/7/2015 till now working as part-time consultant for the company
2.      During past 40 years working life:
-          Assisted company went IPO during 2000 as the CFO
-          Conducted numerous local/overseas due diligence for M& A purpose, covering commercial/business models , finance, IT and human resources matters
-          Championed ‘Productivity Improvement’ program 
-          Conducted short training to employees on topics such as ‘performance management’,’ financial literacy’, ‘enterprise risk management’ etc.
3.      Other professional engagements
-          Workplace diversity champion 2015 nominated by company, appointed by SNEF
-          Assessor for 2007 Business Excellence Assessments  by SQA 
Qualification/Learning experience
1.      March 19- May 11, 2012 – first batch of students from “Future China Advanced Leadership Program” The course is jointly organized by Nanyang Business School /NTU and Business China (通商中国). Business China was launched in 2007 by Singapore’s Founding Prime Minster Mr. Lee Kuan Yew & Former Chinese Premier Mr. Wen Jiabao to promote bilateral ties in social, economic, cultural & business activities in both countries.
2.      1999-2001- Executive MBA, National University of Singapore (18 months program)
3.      June 1973- Graduated from University of Singapore, Bachelor of Accountancy
4.      Sep 2003- Aug 2004- Diploma in ‘Human Resource Training & Development’ by STADA ( Singapore Training And Development Association)
